watching traffic

every morning i wake up and watch all the traffic below me. sometimes i sit here for 15 minutes following each car as it drives by...there are so many things to see! taxis, buses, bicycles, ambulances! it's such a busy city!


now c'mon mom i want to go down there and explore! (gotta go!)

vet visit!

i went on my first trip to the vet on friday. everyone i met there was so nice! they gave me treats and lots of love! the check-up must have worn me out though because i fell asleep on the vet table!

my first walk

excuse me while i still play catch up on all my blog posts. it takes me a while to type with my big paws. :)


last week i went on my first walk with mom and dad. i'm still getting used to wearing my leash, but it was so exciting to see the city! we walked down 2nd street to dad's favorite breakfast joint, Jo's coffee. It was 2 blocks from home and by the time we got there, boy was i tired!


thankfully when i get tired, i'm still small enough to be carried home. :) life is great!!!

my first weekend in austin

i met so many people this weekend! it was very exciting to see my new home and sleep in my very own bed! at first i got scared when i was left alone, but soon started to explore all over the place! i love taking the elevator down to the 10th floor and sniffing all around the dog park. so many fun smells! i hung out with my grammy and granpy a lot too. grammy likes to act like a dog and play on the floor with me. she's crazy and i love her sooo much!

hi i'm luna!

hi guys! my name is luna. i am an english black lab and recently moved to austin, texas. i was born in california so i will always be a west coast lady at heart. :) in the short time i've been here i've figured out i like stalking stuffed animals, getting my belly rubbed, sleeping on the cold bathroom floor and hanging out with my dad. he's really funny and makes pig noises in my face. i really like it here and can't wait to explore more of this big city!
